We've hung out with her several times and she is always gracious, chic and oh so gorgeous and exotic (not to be biased but her mother is Asian-- Eurasians are so beautiful!). What could be more fun that playing with exotic handbags all morning? We hung out with Santiago Gonzalez, son of Nancy Gonzalez and Creative Director of the company, at Bergdorf Goodman and got the lowdown on the history of NG and how she has grown her company from 16 bags to the empire it is today! Going backstage and watching the models get primped and ready is more fun than the actual show itself sometimes. Watch us backstage with the most expensive hair stylist on earth, Orlando Pita... a mere $850 a haircut! He works his magic with T3 products (Beauty Snob favorites, too!) and gives us the lowdown on how he went from giving haircuts to anyone who'd let him to grooming the top models and A listers of the moment.

We absolutely loved filming with Nina! She was so sweet and nice-- though we'd hoped she'd bitch slap us a bit :) We ran into Nina at the DVF show last Sunday and ran up to her squealing to thank her for putting us in her new book "The One Hundred". We were like two little kids, hugging her and gushing our adoration. Thankfully she tolerated us! Later in the week, I attended Nina's book launch party hosted by Marie Claire at Milk Studios and got a peek at her hubby-- quite the dashing and handsome man! Nina is wearing Balenciaga, I am in RM by Roland Mouret (I have this dress in different colors, it's become my uniform!) and Kelly is in DVF. Bagsnob.com and Nina Garcia would like to thank Bergdorf Goodman for opening the store at 7am in order for us to film.

Oscar de la Renta, no need for further introduction-- the master of elegance graced us with an interview and a day we will never forget! We started backstage at 9am to watch the models get made up and dressed up, had a quick bite and hovered around Oscar along with his many design assistants who flitted about with last minute touches for the master's approval. We ended on the runway with Oscar himself for a few words before following him back to his workroom/studio. It was a magical day-- I was so in awe I couldn't stop grinning like a fool!! We'd like to thank CEO Alex Bolen and Retail Director Steven Mathieu for the access to all things Oscar. Now, sit back and enjoy the webisode. We filmed for almost 10 hours yesterday. Wearing Louboutins for that length of time is taxing to the feet to say the least. LOL. I am only going to tell you about one of our guests, her friends call her "Dee-ahn", her staff calls her DVF, her fans simply call her Diane. Yup, the legendary designer and princess, Diane von Furstenberg! She was the most lovely woman. She swept up to me and said "Are you Tina the Bag Girl? I have heard so much about you!" and then showered me with kisses. She then turned to Kelly and did same. She is so regal and has the most amazing energy! Talk about aging gracefully; DVF is beautiful, natural, and ageless! I even got a tour of her apartment above her studio, I want to move in! Can't wait to start another day of filming!

Oh my gosh, I just woke up and it's 6am! Usually we schedule our entries and I never wake up before 8am. Hair and make up and then it's camera time! We have a super packed schedule today, can't wait! xoxo

We just arrived in New York City (well, I arrived at 2pm but headed straight for the Oscar de la Renta boutique and Barneys!) and will start filming tomorrow AM with a very fabulous style icon and a bag designer everyone is panting for. I am not going to tell you who they are, it will be more fun when you watch it yourself. You'll never guess because neither have been profiled on our site before :) Anyway, please forgive us if this week's posts are a bit slow. We have grueling film schedules, 7am calls til the sun goes down! But we are filming with half a dozen of our favorite designers so it won't be like work, it will be fun! I haven't done this in 10 years, am excited but also nervous. Wish us luck!! xoxo

By the way, the Hermes Lindy bag is an A++ traveling companion! The side pockets fit airline tickets perfectly and the long strap goes around the body so I can run around all day long. Am definitely going to get more colors!
