Happy fug Monday my darlings! Now don't be scared of the Karenina frame bag from Dior, they won't bite though they are a serious fright. Inspired by high society Russia in Tolstoy's Anna Karenina-- trimmed in gray fox with black leather or blonde fox in camel leather-- the bags are great alternatives for those who have always wanted to tote a dog around à la Paris Hilton but don't want to deal with waste management. The Karenina won't shed on your sofa, is dander free, and won't chew up your Loubies but will still cuddle up to you and keep you warm. Now that, my friend, is the perfect pet. At Dior boutiques worldwide. Dior Handbags also at eLuxury.com

entirely (the opening becomes a big hexagon that allows you to access the whole interior). It is really easy to open and close and has a beautiful fold-over clasp closure. I am not crazy about this ash color shown here. The one I am eyeing is white with charcoal grey shadow, like the bag on the left (that bag is also great, but it is a messenger so too casual for a croc). This bag will be used year round. The white, of course, is the most amazing thing you can imagine for summer, but how fabulous would it be with a grey sweater and black pants for fall? Oh dear god, I really want this bag really, really badly. The catch, of course, is the price. It is $16,800, which is decent for a croc of this caliber, but I need a plan!! Call Katherine at Bottega Veneta in Beverly Hills at (310) 858-6533 to inquire. $16,800.
comfy and oh-so-lovely!) So, I saw this taupey-grey patent frame at Fred Segal yesterday and was so mesmerized by how different it is--and bursting with style and character! I love the red frame contrast; it sets off the bag perfectly! This also comes in a turquoise with red frame, but that color combination is almost too cartoonish and totally unusable. With this bag, you can wear the most boring plain thing and still be caught turning heads left and right. The straps are long enough to fit comfortably under the arm (it fits under mine, so will fit under most) which
is good because you need to distribute the weight of this bag. I am so spoiled by light bags that I now have a hard time with anything that weighs more than a feather. This bag has a gorgeous silver metallic lining. It is always delightful to find the inside of the bag as nice as the outside, but with a leather lining, you pay for it, with your muscle and moola. This bag is a bit pricey for what it is at $1995, but is selling like crazy. Girls who suffer for fashion will find this one is totally worth it!! Call Fred Segal Santa Monica, 310-394-9814--there are only a couple left.
