It has been a whirlwind of a week: I’ve spent it in Hong Kong, here to celebrate the opening of the first Nancy Gonzalez boutique at the insanely posh IFC. (From Tom Ford to Lanvin, Valentino, Prada, and Zara, it is literally a one-stop shop. I can spend days in here!)
In addition to the usual delectable array of crocodiles, the Gonzalez’s new Hong Kong boutique also has a limited and exclusive bag. Allow me to introduce you to the Cristina (named after the designer’s daughter) in basket-weave and produced in shimmering shades of champagne, gold, and gunmetal crocodile. Only eight were made (single digits means crazy-special!) and you can only get it at this location.
If you’re ever in Hong Kong, you must stop by! With more colors than a fresh box of Crayolas and skins so delectable they threaten to induce drooling, you won’t be able to resist all the temptations. White chains add a pop, while pastels and feathers make for an exotic pastel fantasy. And their cherry minaudiere is just as sweet as it sounds.
My trip mate and twin, aka China Chow, took off with a stack gorgeous, deep cobalt-hued clutches, while I went for the golden-skinned lovelies. From an unbelievable way with weave and beyond, Nancy had outdone herself with this garden of delights. Check out the new Nancy Gonzalez website here!
