My 8-year-old boy’s new favorite word is “epic,” second to “amazing” (I sometimes think he secretly works in the fashion industry). And that pretty much describes my obsession with Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr. When it comes to muses, other than Kate Moss and La Carine, I do not think there is anyone that I care this much about. Only Miranda can prompt me to frantically search the Internet for “NUDE D’ORSAY pumps.”
Her style and more importantly, her bags are always spot-on, and 2012 has been her year. From her recent run with Miu Miu to spotty Alexander Wang to her playful Pradas, and, of course, her treasured Céline Luggage and most importantly, her all-time fave, the Givenchy Antigona (which as catalyzed a major run for this bag worldwide), this girl can carry it all off. With that, I pronounce Miranda Kerr, Bag Snob of the Year.
