There’s not much snow this year, so I guess we have to make our own! I always worry about keeping white bags clean, but if you’re careful, they’re a great change of pace from the usual. Pick one up for a graphic black and white look, or go completely festive with some red or green (probably not together, though – don’t want to look like you’re in costume!). Here are the bags to get us through to a white Christmas:
Marc Jacobs Antonia Textured-Leather Bowling Bag: Kelly spotted the pouch on pouch trend this past fall, and now it’s making its way off clutches to the big bag leagues. On Net-a-Porter for $1,350.
Rochas Textured-Leather Clutch: A little red merlot and black stripe to wrap your snow white Rochas clutch in before you put it under the tree. On Net-a-Porter for $770.
Alexander McQueen Python Dragonfly Knuckelbox Clutch: They say don’t wear white after Labor Day, but I don’t like to be boxed in like that, and besides, this is carrying white (loophole!). On Luisa via Roma for $3,275.
Salvatore Ferragamo Calfskin Shoulder Bag: A perfect bag for work with its portfolio-sized flap pockets to throw papers, iPads, and the like in. On Luisa via Roma for $2,751.
Red Valentino Embroidered Effect Leather Top Handle: Red Valentino’s penchant for bow detailing is so timely, but still subtle enough (embroidered onto the white leather!) to take you through the whole year. On Luisa via Roma for $550.

Love the white bags in winter. Never thought you couldn’t carry white in winter
Hmmmm, the Valentino struck me as a Hindmarch at first – what’s up with that bow?!
