With the countless brands out there, it’s easy to forget that Delvaux is the oldest luxury leather goods house in the world. Well, it’s easy until you catch a glimpse of their newest collection! With a palette of colors that are both fully blossomed and distinctly neutral – shades like Linen, Mimosa, Poudré, Robin Redbreast – this is true romance, a breed that is refined and all grown-up (thanks to Delvaux’s sophisticated heritage), not little girlish.
Out of the Simplissime range, you get all the chic classicism you can crave: the buoyant City for sportiness, and the Tote looks particularly sumptuous in powdery pink. As for quintessential Delvaux, it’s the Brillant all the way. The ultra-modern Black Edition means a voluminous shape and delicious flush-cut sides. I’m also in love with the addition of an east/west shape; it makes for just the right mix of structure and slouch. And last but certainly not least, the Madame, from PM to Pochette, has received a thrilling update, making for my favorite detail of the collection. Thanks to an awesome panel of silver metal and deluxe ostrich, she’s better than ever (think edgy without being, well, edgy). Snobs, it looks like spring has come extra-early this year. To be available at Barneys New York.

Beautiful bags! Such a delightful discovery
