I interviewed Victoria Beckham at her Spring ’13 presentation earlier this month in Dallas (the interview and photos from the event will be up shortly!). Not only was she warm and friendly, she has a great sense of humor. I also learned that she started designing because there were things she wanted to wear and could not find. The triumphant endeavor has resulted in form-fitting dresses that flatter to no end and a burgeoning accessories line that continues to surprise and delight me.

People are REALLY going to have to find a new supposed reason for why they started designing…. I mean, of the gazillion bags / shoes / dresses in the world and the plethora of various high quality designs, and everyone says they just. couldn’t. find. what they liked. Silly.

As someone who owns 2 of her bags, i have to say i dont regret my purchases. The quality is simply amazing, design timeless, everything i need in a bag. And i am seriously tempted with this one, looks like a nice practically casual option to have. The color is gorgeous as well.
Completely agree, I’m besotted by all things Victoria Beckham lately- including Victoria herself. I want to wear her dresses daily and carry her bags. And I don’t say that lightly! Which bags do you have?
Oh and Tina, here is something i have to ask you, and share with you. My sisters boyfriend works pretty high up at Goyard. Did you hear anything about them naming a bag after Mrs Beckham?
Here is what he told me; Goyard has approached her a year ago, and the bag will be named “Victoria”. She agreed to the collaboration but only if she had full approval, and he said she refused to just give her name, and has turned down 4 prototypes before she and her team modified it to her liking. But he said while it was a bit difficult to work with on approving the actual bag in the end (he said otherwise she was very nice, with impeccable manners!) the bag has turned out to be very very gorgeous, and of course expensive. They plan to announce it this month, with a launch event in Paris in January.
So i wondered if you heard about it already? Or possibly seen the actual bag?
I have not seen the bag! And have not heard about this at all!
But yes Victoria is absolutely lovely in person and so well mannered. It’s her proper British upbringing
