I should have bought this bag when I saw it at Barneys in NYC last week! I’m still obsessing, and when I’ve slept on something for a week and still wake up wanting it, it’s a sure sign that I have to have it. I’m struggling because my experience with the Céline Trapeze bag has been less than positive (it’s sad to say, but the truth hurts). The clasp was faulty, causing the whole thing to fly open whenever I carried it. Plus, the top portion sagged when it was full. What good is a bag (even a Céline) if it can’t do its job? A friend who owns a swanky boutique that carries Céline later told me that the first batch had quality issues. Fool me once…Dare I give it another shot? The bag has become ubiquitous since I bought my first 18 months ago, but I still love it. What do you think??

I really don’t like the ‘wings’ on the Celine bag; I haven’t warmed up to it or been tempted even when I see it carried by beautiful models such as Alessandra. This one is a Pass for me.
