J’adore Kotur! From the psychedelic (the clear-and-gold Glitter Globe is sure to be a sparkly distraction!) to the quintessential (deceptively real snake-embossed leather looks fabulous with an ombré makeover), Kotur is in a particularly upbeat mood for Spring ’13! Which puts me in a similarly optimistic frame of mind. How can you not feel good when you’re gazing at bitty box clutches of candy colors, marbleized lacquers, and gilded seashells? Just to name a few!
Not only has the mood been pumped up, the line is more expansive than ever. Lace galore, from doily-inspired to shocking-neon (which is likely what we’ll be craving come spring, now that black and oxblood have taken over), clusters of 3D flower appliqués fit for an overflowing garden, and even a few beyond-bold ethnic patterns make up their all-encompassing mix of minaudieres. Though it’s the feather sensation that’s my favorite. Here it is, everything I adore about Kotur – feminine, glamorous, fun – brimming from one whimsical package. I can’t wait to whip it out with a flourish for a glamorous cocktail hour.
