This is an all-around great clutch, and not just because of the nice price (particularly since we’re talking Lagerfeld here). The details are fun, especially the saucy KARL silhouette logo on the middle plaque, designer-stamped lining, and extra-long zipper-pulls for a younger, more streetwise mood. all the way! Actually, this exact shade is a major selling point for me: it is the perfect, most coveted red that will go with anything as a pristine pop.
But when to carry it? The stern shape, envelope style, and large size make it a bit odd, even awkward for evening, so save it for the workday. Actually, it almost looks like a super-hip work folio – which means it will be amazing in and around the office. At 13″ by 10″, you can totally fit your iPad in there along with documents.
