One of Isabel Marant’s best collections to date produced heavy-hitting bags. Vegas-inspired Elvis ones (aptly named Linda, Lesly, and Laura), to be exact. I had bags very similar in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s, and now I wish I had never gotten rid of them! Her ability to take something dated and spin it into an up to the moment must-have is not unlike that of early Marc Jacobs. Bejeweled and bedazzled bags, which only last season many declared to be passé (giving way to the stark and sleek, as shown at Celine), are now on the minds of the most fashion forward. Isabel Marant is the anti-Phoebe Philo, and we like it just fine.

These bags are very feminine and delicate and perfect for any occassion. I especially like the colored jewels against the white bag. Isabel Marant has gorgeous taste.
