My #1 tote obsession for Fall 2012 is none other than Reed Krakoff‘s lovely Atlantique. Reed has won me over in a major way with this bag, so much so that I am putting the Atlantique up there on the level of the Céline Luggage bag. Yeah, I said it: CÉLINE. You can all gasp now.
I absolutely love that both the design and the details are as spectacular as they are thanks to useful pockets: two on the sides for cell phones or baby bottles, plus large front and back patch pockets for your Kindle or iPad. A removable pouch in contrasting or tonal color adds a trendy color-block element when you want it – or simply hide it when you don’t. There is also a removable body strap. I haven’t even started on the interior. It offers so many bells and whistles, you almost need an accompanying manual to learn all the functions of this amazing bag!
From bright green to creamy eggshell and beige
to rich red
to python-paneled natural
, it’s the starkly chic white-on-black
that is my favorite color combo of the season. Reed Krakoff, I pronounce thee bag perfection. On Net-a-Porter for $1,490-$2,890.

Where are these bags made in?
I love these bags!!! so pretty and functional, yet minimalistic as well!

Can’t choose which color I want. I also love the mini sized ones that are in pink and orange too!
They just look like they are trying too hard to be Celine….not original enough, although lovely.
I got the mini Atlantique just last week in the pink/brown color combination and I’ve really been enjoying it. I love the simple lines, and the quality is impeccable. The full-sized one would make a great laptop bag.
I still haven’t moved on from the Boxer Tote, which I adore. I’ll have to look at this one with fresh eyes.
