Finally, after all the plumes and spikes and shoulder-enhancing sensations, a functional bag from Louboutin! A really, truly, no-nonsense functional shoulder bag. It’s not completely perfect, but it’s still no doubt a winner. The striping on the exterior side pockets (also quite practical, especially from the man who shuns comfort for glamour) is okay in my book, but the tan-and-black color choice could be improved upon. It reminds me of Henri Bendel, and their trademark brown stripes.
But see past that and you’ve got yourself a solid carryall with a sense of strength (credit the bold, black piping) and plenty of organizational pockets. Not only are they large, they are nicely detailed, so they don’t look depressingly perfunctory. And, yes, these shades are totally neutral, so this bowler will go with just about anything. With definite longevity, Louboutin has produced worthy investment that will reap plenty of wear. At Bergdorf Goodman for $1,895.
