Of course you’ve heard the expression “less is more.” Well, when it comes to Valentino classics and the quintessential LRD (Little Red Dress), less is most definitely better. Attending the Valentino Fall 2012 haute couture show in Paris on July 5th, French actress Cleménce Poésy proved the point.
With a simply pulled-back ponytail and even more minimal makeup, Cleménce let her swingy yet structured circle dress and rockstud envelope clutch shine. When your dress is as well-tailored and your basic black clutch is as solid as these are (we are talking Valentino, after all), you’d be foolish to bog them down with cluttered accessories. And Cleménce is clearly no fool. Class all the way, without a hint of labor.
