Less is more when it comes to sightseeing in the summer months. More convenient, that is. Whether you’re taking in the Colleseum or Great Wall, the Louvre or Prado, all you need is room for a bit of cash for souvenirs, hotel key, credit card and cell phone (leave your passport in the safe at the hotel, but carry some sort of ID on you).
After years of travel, I’m committed to just a couple styles when it comes my tourist time. Belt bags and flat, lightweight crossbody styles work best, hands down. And even better, hands-free! Not only do they keep you unencumbered, they’re harder for poachers to grab and steal off you. So roam free and in style, globetrotter!

I love your blog. I’m a self proclaimed bag hoarder and I always try to find ways to sell my old bags for room for newer ones. Lol. Smythson is my favorite.
