For Fall 2012, minaudiere master Fiona Kotur is set to introduce us to a harder-edged line, one that reveals a stronger, perhaps tougher side of the clutch designer’s vision. Jolting lines and razor-sharp meldings of metal and snakeskin are sure to be a refreshing change after summer’s softer clutches.
Even more exciting: the new season marks two fresh collaborations, with Rachel Roy and J.Crew. The delightful assortment boasts the recognizable Kotur touch – timeless glamour, creative textures, and a flair for the exotic -with a few invigorating twists. Rachel and Fiona produce a vintage vibe, with a seventies-inspired deco black-and-gold envelope and a peacock-feathered box, while J.Crew delivers appropriate all-American chic, lace and shimmer that’s sure to amp up the staple brand’s ever-expanding image. Two matches made in bag-snob heaven equal double the fun!
