This is pure function. And it’s Prada so it ain’t all that shabby either. Prada started their followers (yours truly included) on nylon and for a baby bag, this is still the best choice. Easy to clean, super lightweight and mightily durable. The outer pockets will keep you sane which is always a plus for new moms! Comes with a changing pad and bottle holder. Transition Tote – Jil Sander
This is where you splurge on a bag that can take you through diapers to the light at the end of the tunnel. Infants require a ton of stuff but as you transition to toddlerhood, you can start to have fun with your bag again and this is when you get a “real” bag (after bottles and baby food) that can accommodate your vanity as well as function.

This Jil Sander tote has the big open space you need, an exterior pocket so you can actually find your phone and answer it but most of all, it is a timeless bag that will be enjoyed long after your tot goes to college. Great for moms going back to work, it’s all about multi-tasking.

As a mom, you have a lot of activities that require you to be on your feet and on the go all day long – theme parks, birthday parties, parks, museums, the list is endless. For these days, for me this is most days, I like a crossbody that won’t be an additional irritation to deal with. It’s on and you don’t have to think about it. I love my Evelyne, it is one of my best investments (yes, more so than my Birkin!) because I use it constantly and I don’t feel like I am being extra schleppy while being pragmatic.

Treasure – Gucci 1970 Medium Python Shoulder Bag
Believe it or not, python is an excellent choice for moms. And it’s not only because we deserve the best! Python is easy to care for and very lightweight. It also goes with everything so even if you are harassed while getting dressed, you can be certain you are leaving the house looking divine with this on your shoulder. This also happens to be one of my favorite bags at the moment so as a deserving mom, I would love to see this in a gift box come next Sunday.
