Rose Byrne made a bold move at the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards on January 29th. Be-sequined white lace makes a statement any day of the week, but in gutsy jumpsuit form it’s downright adventurous! Let’s thank Elie Saab for tailoring it with just the right fit and drape. And let’s really hand it to Lena Erziak for pulling Rose’s look together (complimented by Chanel fine jewelry and a perfect, sharp bob – seriously, not a hair is out of place!) and fine-tuning it with finesse.
The sleek oval shape and shot of gold of her exotic minaudiere added just the right kind of strength to a playful-glam ensemble. Seventies flavor with modern polish – I think Rose’s risky business pays off in spades! How do you feel about her leisure-meets-red carpet look?
Go for a similar aesthetic with Kara Ross’ Jovita minaudiere, in textural stingray-wrapped lizard. Just a dash of gold puts this incredible exotic over the edge of chic. At Bergdorf Goodman for $1,185.

I was shocked when Andre Leon Tally called this the worst look of the night. I thought they got it exactly right and loved how bold it was. I think Ms. Byrne pulled this off splendidly. Kudos to the stylist too!
both the celeb and the bag designer is now on my radar thanks to you!
