There are only a few bag brands that have never disappointed me when it comes to quality. Among them: Hermès, Chanel, Bottega, and now… Proenza Schouler. The new kids on the luxury bag block (well, relatively speaking compared to the other fashion houses in the category) have developed a loyal following for good reason, myself included.
Proenza Schouler has managed to do something very special: one usually can’t put “edgy designs” and “forward-thinking style” alongside “timeless classics” in the same sentence but the duo manages to do just that.
Their latest arm candy: the book bag, is poised to follow in the esteemed footsteps of its popular elder siblings, the PS1 and PS11 (a favorite of mine). With an easy-open push-lock clasp (I know this because I tested it a couple of weeks ago: I opened-closed, opened-closed so many times I was certain security would escort me out) hidden behind a chic wrap around strap in contrasting material and useful front pocket (on the larger size), this is not only a fab looking bag, it’s functional to boot.
Save from a glimmer here and there, this minimally hardwared satchel is for the understated snob who says no to flash. Choose between two shades and sizes, either way, you can trust Proenza Schouler to make you look like the coolest girl in town without sacrificing functionality or quality.

Now I really love this one. How long is the shoulder strap?
Hi! It’s an 18″ drop on shoulder strap, adjustable though. xoxo Tina
