Sharing the fashionable wealth with one another, it looks like Tod’s and Julianne Moore make an impeccably stylish team. While Tod’s celebrated the release of her third children’s book Freckle Face Strawberry Best Friends Forever at their flagship boutique on Madison Avenue on Decemeber 6th, Julianne kept her Tod’s bag close to her heart. Or perhaps I should say hip?
Hosts included Derek Lam and Lauren Santo Domingo, but I can’t help but think the true star of the fete was her shiny Signature clutch. Worn with an easy Derek Lam dress and Tod’s lace-up ankle boots, the dove-gray foldover-flap bag played the part of the smooth operator. The perfect accessory to punctuate a neutral palette (which plays wonderfully off Julianne’s auburn locks), the pebbled leather, inspired by their Gommini driving shoes, is a brilliant burst of shiny texture.
