What with that lethal baby cobra being loose from the Bronx zoo, we’ve all got snakes on our minds. This glittering green snake, embellished with crystals, is much less menacing, especially all snugly coiled around a nub of suede. While Jimmy Choo’s roomy pouch looks a simple fold-over, apart from the extra-long zipper pulls, it has a zipped top to keep your lip gloss safe. I appreciate the foil of a bejeweled charm against the slouchy matte of black suede, but I’m slightly worried about how the material will wear. Suede is a temperamental leather, particularly in the presence of cocktails. That little snake, however, is irresistible – and much less temperamental than a baby cobra! On Net-a-Porter for $1,595.
