Showing that she’s not all about the exotic skins, Victoria Beckham was spotted this week showing off not only her new baby bump, but another fabulous new bag from her collection. The gold hexagonal-link chain handle leather bag is terribly ladylike–I love it! In a sea of so many slouchy, oversized totes and carryalls, it’s nice to see some stylish structure, something this monochromatic bag definitely has plenty of. It’s a great silhouette bag no matter your height. While it’s shape and chain link strap are certainly reminiscent of another famed, French fashion house, at the end of the day who hasn’t done a bag this shape right? I like it for its clean lines, concertina-style sides and press-stud fastening fold-over flap front. It’s also got a removable zip-fastening pouch for those quick jaunts that don’t require the entire bag. Judging by how a matte croc version costing nearly $15,000 sold out in a few minutes at Net-a-porter, I have no doubt this bag will sell like hot cakes at Bergdorf’s for $3,250.
Poor Posh, now that she has her own handbag line to promote, she cant show off her humdreds of beautiful Berkins anymore.
