I love what Vera Wang is doing with the Simply Vera line at Kohl’s– it’s an opportunity for many bag snobs on a budget to own designer bags without resorting to knock offs. The pleated cross body bag (10.75″ x 5.5″) is one of the best I’ve seen at this price point and I have looked everywhere! It is available in a variety of yummy colors (blue for me please) in a cool crinkly material and the chain is easily tucked in if you’d like to use it as a clutch. I’ve bought Simply Vera bags in the past and the quality is not bad– it’s not the finest leathers but it also doesn’t cost an arm or a leg.

I remember a few years back you reviewed her upcoming desinger handbag line. I have searched but never could find one to purchase. I liked what I saw. What happened to her designer bags? Did she decide not to follow through? If they are out there, please let me know how I can purchase one. I have called the NY store several times, but no one ever answers. Thanks
