Kooba Bryce Drawstring Shoulder Bag: Oscar the Grouch
By Bag Snob Emma on January 14, 2011 8:08 am Emma

Kooba Bryce Drawstring Shoulder Bag.jpgKooba Bryce Drawstring Shoulder Bag1.jpg

When I saw this bag, I immediately imagined Oscar the Grouch popping out of it, throwing a half eaten grilled cheese sandwich at me.

The Kooba Bryce drawstring shoulder bag makes me dizzy. The overload of brass hardware combined with the sack shape and olive snake print is just too much for me to handle. I’m not a huge fan of the sack look to begin with, and covered in all these odds and ends this is definitely not something I would spend more than $100 on. The olive color is nice, but the bag is too busy to really notice, and it ends up looking drab, dull and a bit like a garbage bag.

However, if you are a huge fan of our old pal Oscar, then pick up this olive number at Neiman Marcus on sale for $281 or at Bergdorfs for $595 and get your grouch on.

I give them props for attempting with the drawstring shape– but “monstrosity” is an applicable adjective.
