As an early adopter to the iPad the one huge downside was the lack of cute accessories for it. Mainly the case. I decided to get a cheapo ugly black cover while I waited for better ones but little did I expect the windfall of so many fabulous choices. The leading contender is this Michael Kors zip around cover. I throw my iPad in my bag so I want it to be protected from crumbs, keys and whatnot. I also like to take my iPad out of the case because it’s too cumbersome when reading. The case I have now is a total hassle to take in and out but this one just slides out of the corner elastic bands. Now the hard part is deciding between the python or the black patent!! These are official Apple endorsed cases so are sold at the Apple store as well as Michael Kors stores and Michael Kors online. Also comes in gold pebble and gunmetal, for $129.95.

I use a book book from twelve south.com. It works fantastic, looks like an old leather book, so ^no one will suspect and steal it if I forgot and left it in the car, and it looks like I’m reading a book!
Plus, when another version comes out and this ^no longer fits it (and you know Apple, so it WILL happen) it wasn’t expensive so I won’t regret it!

I just got this in the gold python – it’s luxe and the exotic adds a little extra. A plus side that it’s easily visible in the bottomless pit of my bags!
