Wow, is there any wonder that retailers across America have dropped Miu Miu bags? Sure we could all use a chuckle in the mornings but do you want to be the one laughing, or laughed at?!?! Wait, let me finish giggling… okay, done. To be fair, the overall shape of the bag is cute if not for the fact it’s made of wool crepe (fuzz balls, anyone?) and giant flowers. Make that giant METAL flowers at that, you’d have to be really quirky to pull this off (or underage). Crazy thing is, when I saw this earlier it was still available but in the last few hours it has since SOLD OUT. Who bought it? I’m betting on my friend’s 10 year old tween snob.
Miu Miu Wool-Crepe Metal Flower Bag for $1,695

Talk about over the top! Would look much better with only the one flower, although still not sure about the material…
I really love the clasp but hate hate the bag:( my nine year old got excited over this b/c she loves flowers:), so you are right on target with your comment. the reason it is probably sold out it is because they probably didn’t make that many of them!!
Ok, Sparrow and cat prints are one thing… but what were they thinking?
I just don’t think that Miu Miu is serious about selling handbags. I mean, really? Metal flowers? I can’t even remember the last time that I saw a Miu Miu bag in person. Maybe I did and just passed it up.
The ‘hippy’ surreal trend. Flower Power
O-M-G, this is so overkill & tragic, why?!
And is sold out? Seriously, who on the right mind would want to pay for this, especially over $1500?
Insane.
Your lack of sens of humour is giant !
i think it’s very popular in the Asian market… i know a lot of Asian girls who are obsessed with flowers/bows/anything almost excessively cute… i personally am not a fan of this particular bag, but i can understand its appeal, and i think Miu Miu has done its homework too
I think people who are pining for the Mod period would like this and the like. If you look at the fashion mags of the 60′s it would fit in with the exaggerated false eyelashes of Twiggy and the designs of Dior in that period. Very Laugh-In. I don’t HATE it but I do wonder if it wouldn’t catch on everything and no purse is worth ruining your clothing.
