It’s been fun watching fashion shows live streamed to my MacBook but I have to say, NOT THE SAME. I tried to lie to myself that it was just as fun but it really isn’t. There is nothing, NOTHING like the energy of a fashion show. One show I’m really bummed to have missed was the Burberry Prorsum show in London this morning (Christopher Bailey is amazing, a true talent). The collection was pure London Punk, studded trench coats and military style leather jackets– but lightened up with neon bright bags. Bags that you can order, right now, until September 28th. Keeping in mind that they are Spring 2011 bags (are designers going overboard with instant gratification?!) but you’ll have them by mid November.
I want to know what you think of the shop from the runway trend many designers are embracing. Will you be pre-ordering now for next year?
