Amanda Pearl has been a celebrity favorite for awhile now (the brand’s bags have even made appearances on Gossip Girl via the Blair Waldorf character). One of Amanda Pearl’s most popular clutch styles seems to be the Roll Clutch, which has been spotted on everyone from Chloe Sevigny to Taryn Manning and now on Alexis Bledel who brought it along to the US Weekly party for the ’25 Most Stylish New Yorkers,’ which took place during Fashion Week at Lavo – one of my favorite new restaurants/nightclubs here in Manhattan and conveniently located 5 minutes from my apartment!
Bledel opted for a Navy Roll Clutch ($998) made of duchess satin and finished with a gem rock crystal cabochon closure. As a fun touch the bag, inspired by Pearl’s best friend, includes a gold plated logo touch-up mirror with a cover. However as much as I love Stella McCartney, the Floral Silk Dress that Bledel is wearing is pretty un-stylish for a fashion-themed party if you ask me. At least the clutch ties into some of the flowers around the chest-area.
