Oh how I LOVE this lady-like trend (thanks to the popularity of the best show on TV, Mad Men) and I love that Marc is going back to the simpler days of clean lines and just good basic everyday bags that survive long past the trend. After a week on vacation it is so exciting to come back to something that brings back all the passion I had for bags growing up. The proportions of the bag with the little top handle is as precise as it is chic. The lock may be overdone but here, it somehow manages to look vintage and fresh at the same time. This is such a great alternative to the clutch for evenings and should be pushed to the edge with a funkier look, don’t go for the obvious fitted dress and pearls (actually, unless you’re trying to impress your grandmother, never go for that look!). MJ usually have some pretty horrible cheap looking bags, but this one I can stand actually, is not spectacular but is definitely pretty.
