Jennifer Aniston in Tiffany & Co. Reversible Tote

Will Tiffany & Co.’s fall launch of its first-ever formal leather collection be a hit? Considering the line is designed by Richard Lambertson and John Truex (of Lambertson Truex fame) and judging by the scores of editorial it’s been getting, I think so. But then along comes Jennifer Aniston–not exactly a fashion plate known for her bag choices. For her recent arrival at the “Good Morning America” studio, keen eyes will have noticed the actress toted Tiffany’s new reversible tote with her as she promoted “The Switch.” The suede and metallic leather combo is simple, elegant and classy. It’s a great bag for the woman not looking to be flashy or conspicuous; and at well below $1,000 for the large tote, it’s actually a great value. Two sizes are available in three color combinations: camel/light gold , garnet/garnet, and espresso/espresso (which Aniston is seen here with).

$395 (small) & $595 (large), available at Tiffany & Co. stores

Sorry, I won’t carry a bag worn by a woman who throws around the word “retard” to describe people on national television.

I think that it is very smart for Tiffany to sell bags at this price point. More people would buy and word of mouth would get out faster. Some designers who have not solidified themselves as handbag designers charge too much. The handbags are beautiful, well-made, and Tiffany should do very well.

I just bought mine today here in Houston! I love it. I got the suede signature blue and silver combo. It comes with a little detachacle silver bag on the inside, but no pockets or anything. The craftsman ship is awesome.

Someone beat me to mentioning the silver/Tiffany blue combination. And while I understand the interest in these bags because of Lambertson Truex, Tiffany had a line of handbags that was discontinued about a decade ago. While I don’t use mine any longer, mostly because its not big enough, I do still have it in its original blue dust bag and box. That bag is also a beautifully constructed piece.

I am kind of rough on my bags. I can see the suede side getting stained with stuff lingering at the bottom of my bag…too bag there is not some type of liner to protect the side that is being used as the interior.

Check out the Tiffany web site. The range of bags is divine and the alligator clutches are a

must. I was in the store last week when the bags arrived and ended up buy the alligator

market bad. Wonderful. Now I am back for the bracelet sating evening bag and an

alligator “Holly” clutch. The craftsmanship is exceptional – better than Hermes – and these bags will be with you forever. A must buy for the long term.

Don’t understand why people willing to pay so much for a bag! It just a bag! I usually just wear a cheaper price bag (no more than $100), but functional and do it’s job well. I rather spend that money on other more practical activities or just save it for grocery or fancy dining with friends. In many cases I come across, I have a good laugh when knowing many people spend over thousand dollars on brand name hangbags and not knowing they got ripoff from online seller, not mention those bags are real or not. Those buyers can actually find better deal from wholesale online themselves if they take a little time. Case I know, hangbag such as Mulberry or Stella McCartney or Proenza Schouler, people spend over thousand dollars from online seller, but the actual price is $100-$600 CAD if you willing to spend a little time to search online. I think those online sellers will hate me by now telling you the truth!
