Remember when clutches were just envelopes and plain flat numbers? I love the fact that clutches have come such a long way in innovation for design and function. Well, this isn’t so revolutionary as far as function goes (though it is big at 13″ wide) but I have nothing but love for the design. It’s like a pleated skirt, but turned on it’s head. You would think this is strictly for formal evening affairs but you could definitely take this out anytime. I am overjoyed that Prada is making a comeback with pieces that make me emotional. Have you noticed though that Prada and Miu Miu are like a seesaw? When one goes up the other goes down. Miuccia needs to multi-task! This also comes in black which is super fab and probably the color to get if you want mileage out of it but I had to feature the red to show the details of the pleats. At Barneys New York and Prada boutiques for $850.
