I wasn’t going to bring up Sex and the City 2 anymore, because if you’re anything like me you are sick and tired of hearing about the film! While the movie was entertaining, I was disappointed by most of the clothing which looked more drag queen-chic then anything remotely inspiring. There were however a slew of Halston Heritage pieces that I liked (like the one pictured above), and I absolutely love the GoldBAR Chanel Clutch ($3,295), that Carrie has at the beginning of the film! I love it so much that I just can’t help, but highlight it here. This is the kind of piece I expect to see Carrie wearing. It mixes classic and iconic, with humor and edge. The reflective metal is fab against the white dress and the top logo is an awesome, original touch. Admittedly the bag is a bit tacky, but then again aren’t all of Carrie’s best looks?
I don’t care for the bag but I like her dress. I was surprised by the Halston dresses, I thought they were very nice and well priced. I think the problem with the clothes was they were dressed for the desert. I didn’t like that either. New York City is part of sex and the city we needed more of the city.
I just loved the opening scene way too much desert for my liking not enought New York!!!
