Louis Vuitton iPad Case

Just as how Louis Vuitton was the first luxury label to debut an Apple iPod case back in the day, the French leathergoods and ready-to-wear house has rolled out a special case designed for the iPad. While it’s almost the price of the iPad itself, for those who work in the fashion or entertainment industries, it’s a small price to pay for a stylish yet durable cover. I have a lot of friends who own iPads, and they all complain that the standard cover is ugly, leaves fingerprints and dirt smudges. These ladies and gents tote their iPads in their designer bags and briefcases; it’s only fitting that they have something equally as stylish to house a tool that they will undoubtedly use a lot of in the presence of others. Granted, I don’t recommend buying one if you can’t afford it–I would hope that’s obvious. Available in classic Monogram or the masculine Damier Graphite, each case is scratch resistant. The iPad slips right out from on top to prevent accidental spills. If quality mixed in with some ostentatious style is your cup of tea, then this is worth your consideration. Available at Louis Vuitton boutiques or 866-VUITTON for $390.

  1. While Louis Vuitton is always in style and has a great look, I wonder how protective this case is? I want my style with functionality….anyone know?

  3. Good article. It’s refreshing to see an article where a girl admits that a) girls control the dating scene and b) girls often pick guys who “know how they love bags” rather than choose quality bags. I can’t tell you how many of my girl-friends say something to the effect of “I don’t know what I saw in that jerk!” Stuff like “The Pickup Artist” works…but its because it relies on psychology and manipulation. Not something to emulate, in my opinion.

Girls, give that cute, if not shy and awkward, guy a chance! He might be the one you’re looking for!

    is this available now???

  5. I have the LV case for my iPod touch in red epi and these look like the same thing but larger (just like I think the iPad is the iPod touch but larger). Love my case, it’s stylish and tasteful, but I like the red epi leather much more than the LV logo stuff.

  6. Very nice post! Both of these two colors are the most classic styles LV ever got having. But indeed I like the Grey one more!

  9. Is it really worth it to buy an iPad case for almost $400? That’s what I ask myself each time I look at the LV case. I’ve almost made up my mind to get one anyway.
