It’s getting increasingly hard to differentiate one teen star from the other especially when they all seem to favor the same hairstyles and short ruffled minis… Whatever happened to making a splash on the red carpet!? At this year’s Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards Nikki Reed (who to be fair is 21) wore a fairly forgettable Cynthia Steffe floral strapless dress, but managed to stand-out thanks to her bag choice. While Steffe is popular among the teen/20-something age demo, Ferragamo is certainly not so I was pleasantly surprised to see the Twilight star wearing the O-Ring Clutch. While it’s an understated, classic style, the texture and the silver give it a younger feel that plays nicely against Reed’s dress. It also goes to show that you can work the metallic trend into your look without going for something loud. Few bags look just as beautiful against a floral dress under the arm of a 20-something year old as they do under the arm of someone two, three, or even four times that age, but this is one such bag!

I like the clutch but it completely does not belong with the rest of the outfit-too many patterns and colours to make it work

Hmm. It looks like ring lizard to me – ivory with a gray pattern. Maybe they put a shiny silver coating over the skin that I can’t see?
