Miu Miu has replaced Prada in my world. Look at this delightful Bird clutch in pink and black python with pink suede, talk about the ultimate whimsical piece to spice up your bag wardrobe with. I’ll admit this is not a clutch for everyone, but it is definitely a statement piece when you have an important occasion– a baby shower, a wedding or just lunch/cocktails with the girls! The flap with scalloped trim has a magnetic fastening so you won’t be tugging on that precious bird to open and the interior has 3 pockets plus an optional shoulder strap. So pink suede is not the most practical but this a treasure that you’ll use occasionally and with special care.

I fell in love with this when I saw it on Net-a-Porter. Fun and sophisticated at the same time. I love the swallow motif— it reminds me of vintage sailor tattoos.
I really don’t like this bag, particularly the pink. I do think the Mui Mui shoes are fun for young women……
I prefer the Miu Miu dragon fly clutch that came out a few seasons ago. This is cute but the dragon fly made more of a statement
This looks incredibly close to the work of a small UK designer and manufacturer Tideydavies. Their designs were registered back in 2006. Their Curvi-Linear collection was launched October 2008 see http://www.tideydavies.com . The combination of the layered stripes and scalloped edges are a signature of their brand.
