Absolutely LOVE this clutch!! It has the greatest vintage feel but it is completely updated and modern. Well, the spikes help. The walnut wood handles are super 70′s, I remember my mom had a bag with wooden handles but it was ruined by the fact that the rest was crocheted. Ya, you know the bag I’m talking about (Ferragamo tried to revive it, unsuccessfully, a few years ago). The handles care of the most hated aspect of clutches, the method of holding it. I know handles on a clutch is not new, but it just makes this clutch that much more spectacular! The rounded body also alleviates the maddening decision process of what you must leave out when using a clutch. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $1450.
I saw this clutch on another site, and I fell in love, too. I had one similar to this as a little girl in the 80s except that the handle was plastic. Of course, this is a lot more luxurious. Too bad that I can’t swing the price. If only money were no object!

Yes, it’s a cute shape but J Crew did almost the exact shape/proportion a couple of years ago – with a more interesting pattern I might add.
