I don’t know what’s more frightening — how Courtney Love showed-up looking (and acting), at this year’s Brit Awards or the awful bag — from one of my fave brands, Miu Miu — she opted to wear. The Miu Miu Lurex Jeweled Shoulder Bag ($950), looks like a tacky cross between the Marc Jacobs Fluorescent tweed bag and a classic Chanel 2.55. As if the loud pattern wasn’t enough, they had to go slap on a crystal-embellished shoulder strap (which on top of being ugly in a found-it-in-my-grandmother’s-basement sort of way, looks like it would be uncomfortable to wear over a bare shoulder), and small stud-like pearl details around the top flap of the bag. The only way to make this bag remotely wearable would be to remove the strap completely and wear it as a clutch, but even then you’d still be stuck with this clashing-colored print. Miu Miu needs to stick with what they do best — monochromatic, quilted leather.

I must say I’m no Courtney fan but I love that bag yet.
Maybe if they put her in an ad-campaign I’d change my mind though
