Weekend chic: Chloe Marlow large python and leather bag

If you're looking for a luxuriously big and slouchy bag for the weekend, Chloe's Marlow python is your bag!  I love the delicate shade of blush-gray, a huge python bag is decadent in itself but the combo of leather and understated color makes it refined and elegant.  The Marlow has become the brand's classic shape and I have to say it's one of the best bags from Chloe in years though I'm not sure Chloe is really over its dry spell.  I took this bag for a spin around the boutique not too long ago and while it's huge, it's surprisingly lightweight and easy to use.  In the photo it's of course stuffed to the max but take out all the tissue and it will slouch nonchalantly.  It's also a very functional bag with the hidden pockets and interior compartments though the price is way too steep for a bag that's only half python!

This bag is beautiful, and it looks like something I could wear as my everyday bag.

Too bad about the price, but I know that it's worth every penny.

  • The combination of colour and texture in this bag is just dreamy. Sigh. And as an aside, I love the recent spate of comment spam from nike air max - it's strangely endearing.

  • Beautiful bag, but the color wouldn't work for me. I live in NYC and it would be filthy after the first few uses. Now if it were black, I could consider it, although the price point is a bit high.

  • Not liking the straps at the bottom! Very impractical. They look like an accident waiting to happen!

  • Not liking the straps! Looks like they can get caught onto something - an accident waiting to happen!

  • This bag is ridiculously over priced for what it is.
