Remember Gerard Darel? We were all crazy for its bags in 2007 and scooped up several in Paris but the love has since fizzled due to the difficulty for us to get it stateside. Maybe Sarah Jessica can bring back the love now that Shop Rumor has the Flat Jack in stock. It’s a good size as far as messenger bags go and the studs are small enough not to bother me but the giant zipper pulls are just too cumbersome for my taste. However, the price is decent if you’re looking for a kick around bag that is trendy and fun.
On a totally random note, I am not liking SJP’s uggs with her jeans tucked half in and out. I know they are comfortable and keep the feet warm but really, it’s not a good look for the new Creative Director of Halston Heritage.

I have nothing to say about the bag, it doesn´t touch me at all. But SJP´s outfit isn´t something I´ve seen on her before. A total slob! What was she thinking, when leaving her house?

the bag is definitely something I would use… the uggly boots,especially the way how SJP wears it here with the jeans-never!
Sarah Jessica Parker seems to always look like this when she is around town with her son. She seems to dress nice only when a stylist dresses her.
I was on a business trip to Australia about a year ago, and our host had us to his house for dinner with his family, which included 3 high school/college aged-girls. They were STUNNED when I told them that women in the U.S. wear Uggs in public…even as a fashion statement (like in LA with miniskirts and tank-tops). They said they are ONLY for hanging out in the house in your pajamas or working outside in the yard. I thought that was excellent advice!

I love messenger bags, and for that matter, I just love purses period. But for me, messenger and laptop bags are my thing lately. I haven’t been watching cerlebrities,and what they are carrying, much, lately, I just like a good looking bag, no matter who is carrying it.
The bag is OK, but I’m over studs for now. I saw SJP interviewed awhile back and she said she is really NOT her character Carrie Bradshaw. She said she was raised in a family that had to be very frugal and that had a big influence in her fashion line Bitten, which is, well, cheap. I guess the line still exists. She also mentioned that she dresses for comfort around town and is not the Fashionista, most of the time. I love Uggs around the house or maybe running to the cleaners, etc. The look with the jeans was not that attractive, but that length Uggs does that with straight leg jeans unless you really get them inside securely. I don’t think Sarah Jessica cared that day.
Uggs should be worn only in the privacy of your own home.
The purse would be great for the weekends when you are running around with your kids. I own a pair of Uggs and love to wear them in the winter outdoors. Really warm and keep my feet warm. Think what SJP is wearing is fine.
pleez,she is a doll, i actually sat next to her on a plane & she is with her child, why do you want her to look like a fashion plate and not a mom? she is not a barbie doll! how would you like to dress in couture 24/7? and i did find find the purse after seeing a different version in people that halle berry had and egad she was wearing jeans with rips,oh yeah, they are in and flip flops, but its l.s. and not nyc, leave sjp alone.
