Lanvin Large Denim Shopper with Flower Detail

This Lanvin Denim shopper sat with me in my dressing room at Neiman Marcus when I was trying on dresses with a girlfriend. Not sure why it was even there, but I fell in love. This is not something I would normally consider but the three way mirrors did a number on me. So is it true, they do something to dressing rooms to make you obsessed? Is it the lighting? I don't remember drinking Kool Aid on the way in! Whatever it is, the giant pom pom flower and the grosgrain ribbon details on the lightweight denim need to be part of my life. I daydreamed about my entire summer with this bag - a montage of my beach vacation, my favorite resort's poolside with a citrus-y cocktail, picnics at the park with tiny crustless sandwiches with the bag piled with magazines I haven't had time to read.... It is at Neiman Marcus for $1365 but not online, and at Browns Fashion for $1040 but with shipping, duty and fees, it probably turns out to be the same.

    Ohhhh its so pretty!

  • I´d have to see the color of it in person. A bit too pricey for a denim canvas bag.

I think it is adorable, however, I'm sure you could get one just like it at Coach for about 25% of the price.

  • I like Lanvin bags. Love the use of ribbon in the style. I wonder if this has a zipper top? Probably not.

  • I love your blog, you always give me good ideas !!! so.... thank you, thank you and thank you!!!!!!!

I don't like denim handbags, and I wear jeans almost every day. It's just insane to me to pay that much money for a denim handbag. If it were not for that flower, it would be just another denim bag.

    • Except it pretty much is for that flower which makes it different from every other denim bag., you must keep in mind that you are also paying for the design with luxury products, although materials are usually up to par, the design is the money. And I doubt the denim of this bag is anything but the finest quality of denim.

  • beautiful, must go perfect with my jeans

  • This Lanvin shopper is gorgeous, I'm noticing that a lot of bags at the moment have either flowers or fringe detailing.

Denim is denim is denim. It's overpriced. You can get a beautiful leather bag for half that much.

  • Can any of you tell me what it is not overpriced and retailed with the Lanvin brand?
Truly it is a gorgeous bag. Overpriced or not...
