The Stella McCartney Technical taffeta tote ($785) looks like it could be the frugal version of the Donna Karan Collection 'Luxe' Leather Tote Bag ($1,195), except at nearly $800 it only looks frugal! The bag's two satin-canvas handles make it look more like a gym bag than a stylish day-shopper and the taffeta outer layer looks like it would wrinkle easily if not neatly stored. It's too bad this isn't an adidas by Stella McCartney bag because for 1/4 of the price I'd consider buying it to take to the gym or for those days where it might rain or snow, but I still want to wear a cute bag that isn't so nice that I have to stress about it getting damaged.

I think it is a gorgeous bag. But I agree to expensive. Of course Charlize Theron doesn't mind that it costs $800. Frankly that is what replica is for!
