O man is this a bad one or what!? Jessica Alba was recently photographed in the Prada Fall/Winter 2009 Velluto Sere Clutch ($1,350), which just has way too much going on (thankfully Alba paired the clutch with a simple dress). As if pulling off a velvet purse isn't difficult enough, Prada has decided to add sequin, bead, and stud embellishments. Plus that strap on the side looks so cheaply constructed. The only redeeming quality is that the bag is lined with satin (though since it's not reversible that doesn't get anyone very far...). I also find the color pictured above, as well as the color of the one Alba is sporting pretty hideous.
What do you think about this Prada clutch? Snob or Slob?
I think she looks very elegent and the clutch adds something festive for the holidays. I think the clutch is pretty.
The picture of Jessica Alba is a bit too small to comment on the bag, but she looks so happy and gorgeous (especially as a brunette) that she could make the proverbial potato sack look good. See also Klum, Heidi.

I like the bag. I understand that it cannot pleased someone who has a very traditional, classical and basic taste. This little bag is funny and the colour very original. I like it.
