UPDATE: Sorry, the grey version I posted sold out and Joy asked me to post this wicked black version! This is just as fierce and will actually be more versatile. (Okay, I'm lying, the grey was sick but it's sold out so I'm just trying to make you feel better.)
I gave the black coffee Olivia Harris Round sac to my BFF in Taiwan, Kelly Lin, for her birthday last month (yes, being my BFF means you get lots of great bags as gifts!). I was going to wait for spring to get myself a dirty white but saw this grey version today on Olivia Harris' new online shop and had to have it! The grey is so perfect for fall and as many of you know, it is one of my absolute favorite colors. Bag Snob Kelly (it gets confusing when your two BFFs are both named Kelly) used hers all over Taipei and on our flights, it's such a light weight and easy to use tote and we can't tell you how handy that giant zip pocket is! You must check out the site for many other new styles that Joy Gryson has come up with for the line.
Can I be your BFF too, Tina? Haha, I'm just kidding. You have the fabulous taste on handbags, so all I can say is -- your BFFs are super lucky! Kelly Lin is beautiful, btw. She is one of my favorite celebrities in Taiwan.
i bought this bag off saks.com and when i received it, i was disappointed by the quality of the bag. the leather seemed very cheap and flimsy, even though it was soft. also, there is a issue with the design of that bag because of the placement and use of magnetic closures. there are two sets of magnets that close the main part of the bag as well as the front pocket. i found that the use of magnets did not suit well with the slouchy-ness of the bag because the magnets in the front pocket would stick to the magnets in the main pocket. it created an odd look for the bag because the front part of the bag would rise up toward the middle. nonetheless the bag is cute and i would have kept it if this issue was resolved earlier in the design process.
I agree with Lisa. I saw the bag at Bloomingdales and thought it looked cheap. The leather was ok...similiar to Linea Pelle. I agree with the closure being odd. It made the bag lay in a way that was not attractive. I would rather buy a Michael Kors bag (his cheaper line) than this bag. At least the MK buys have some style and substance.
Don't like either. Reminds me of the bad quality gryson I bought several years ago when leather on the closure began to peel . Not making the same mistake twice. I'll pass.
I bought this in mushroom and I have no quality issues with OH. The leather is soft and don't mind the magnetic closings. I agree about Gryson bags though. Had a horrible experience when they came out.

I agree with Lisa and the issue with magnetic closure. After going to the trouble of getting this bag shipped to the UK, I was a little disappointed when it arrived scrunched up around the top of the pocket, due to the magnets getting stuck together. Every time I use this bag and put stuff in and take stuff out of it, the magnets want to all join up. It is frustrating. However, I do love the softness of the leather, and the slightly rock look, so I will keep on persevering. If anyone can think of a way where I can stop this magnet issue happening, I would be very happy to know about it. Tina, could you please tell Joy to sort this problem out!!!
