I've been having some travel dramas lately and I've decided, I need to just do it right and travel in style. Life is seriously too short to suffer while traveling, I mean what's the point? I'd rather just stay home. Yes, this is my age talking but it is what it is. I am over it. I have been super practical traveling with a Victorinox or Samsonite trolley my whole life, but I think I travel enough to justify shifting some of my bag expenses over to travel bags. The first thing I'm going to buy is this Chanel trolley from the new Coco Cocoon collection. The collection has super puffy quilted totes that are reversible and an array of travel bags. But how incredible is this quilted trolley? It is meant as a carry on so I can make sure it stays nice. The top zip duffel style is way easier to use than a typical suitcase carry on, you can get to your things without having to lay down the suitcase, unzip, etc. I am still not ready to justify the lambskin which is $4125, you know how sensitive that Chanel lamb is but the nylon for $2700, totally doable. The nylon only comes in black but the lambskin comes in black and red. Call Alexis at 214-520-1055 or (800) 550-0005 to purchase.

Sorry, but I'm going to say those anathema words on BagSnob...LOUIS VUITTON!!! Nothing beats them for travel and you'll get twice as much space with a carry-on Pegases 55. And I'm sure it's a thousand times more durable then that Chanel thing. Just get the Damier Ebene if you don't want the monogram.
I have to agree with ManBag. I have had my LV luggage since I was about 20yrs old & I am now 40. It last forever!
This Chanel concoction doesn't look like it will survive on conveyor belts.... My suitcase was just broken last week on one of those evil things. Samsonite all the way. Lifetime warranty and their recent designs are really quite spectacular.
this bag is just fugly! i would definitely get a lv or globetrotter!
i'm not feelin' this either. don't think its worth the investment. looks like u could easily beat this puppy up. my delsey looks like it could hold up better than this.
I think this is cute
If I saw this in an airport I would immediately think it was a fake. A Chanel bag with wheels?!?!?
I never in my life thought I would actually say this but I don't like this Chanel. And I absolutely love everything Chanel.
It's sort of cute but I would worry about losing it! I'll stick with Samsonite and my ancient army-navy surplus bag.
Hi Bagsnob Kelly!
What do you mean about the Chanel lambskin leather being sensitive? I don't own any Chanel bags yet, but for my first one I always thought lambskin was good and durable? If not, what would you recommend? Is caviar better?
Thanks snobs :)
Honestly, it looks vulgar and tacky to me. I travel a lot for business and personally I love spotting a well-dressed traveler carrying pieces from a line that is created for travel - Victorinox, Tumi, Samsonite black label, LV (but not the monogram). It looks distinctive. I have a matching Tumi laptop bag and rollaboard in their ballistic nylon and leather that look way classier than this Chanel piece, and they provide a lovely background for any bag I choose to carry on a given trip. My 2 cents.
As much as I love Chanel, I'd be afraid this wouldn't be durable enough for travel. Even carry-ons can get banged around, so I'll stick with my Tumi, which has proved to be almost indestructible.
That is hideous. It looks like something only a Russian oligarch's mistress would carry.
reminds me of those inflatable backpacks i had as teenager in the late 90's...
hideous and expensive!
But if it floats your boat, by all means go for it!

Someone will buy it and love it. I will travel with my LV's and not take a chance to scratch and peel the leather.
Chanel team, get with the program.....
Sorry Kelly, this is just such a SLOB and in nylon? I love Chanel bags, but this is borderline hideous..just the shape is WRONG WRONG WRONG..
I agree with MANBAG 100%. I LOVE MY LV carryon too! It is roomy and STURDY and just beautiful (and Im not a big fan of their monogram handbags, but when it comes to luggage, this is NOT EVEN CLOSE!) I love LV luggage so much, I even bought a red vernis hand luggage when it first came out. IT's just gorgeous....
Side note, Todd, your comment made me chuckle:) It's so true and I noticed you said the mistress rather than the wife would carry it, the wife would have the LV (i know a lot of russians and it's so true:)!!!!
