I don’t think I’ve ever loved Gucci as much as this, EVER! Not even during the heydays of Tom Ford. And trust me, I bought plenty of Gucci bags back in the day and was pretty damn proud of them. This divine and pristine python on a gorgeous classic shape – major LUST!! Not sure it is a must at $3500 but that has nothing to do with its worth (it’s a personal budgetary matter!). If you can, do it! I haven’t even gone into the details that make this a super spectacular special piece. There is a small chain that hangs on the bottom, which is all it takes to convey refined edgy chic. And the handle looks like chain but it is interlocking braided leather. You need fine details like that for an investment piece, which this is without question. This might get pushed up to the top of my list for Fall purchases, but that means I have to let some other things go. But what a lovely decision that is to have to make =) At Saks Fifth Avenue for $3500.

Hi I totally agree with you Kelly on this gucci bag. I’ve not bought a gucci bag in like 10-12 years now. Each season just seemed uglier than the last until this season. I actually like the other bag you wrote about too with the horse bit icon zipper tag.
Now two bags that I like GASP! That is shocking. Maybe gucci is going back on my radar again.
