Strange that Angelina Jolie and Lindsay Lohan would have the same taste in bags, maybe Lindsay will one day end up with 7 kids and become an advocate to end world hunger... or not. But I'm writing you about Hammitt Los Angeles Hand Bags, not the potential of Lindsay becoming Mother Theresa, the line is known for their rivet accented bags which are now available in cute clutches, totes, diaper bags (see Angelina) and a slew of other shapes. Whenever I'm in LA, I get all into this casual mode but then I go to New York and am like, "what was I thinking!?!?!" Right now, I must still be in LA mode cuz both the Bel Air (diaper bag below in black for $850) and the Westwood (in brown $485) is appealing to me. Saw the bags at Fred Segal-- very rock and roll vibe made of smooth American cow leather that is sturdy yet soft. But I'm certain this is the type of bag that won't last in my collection. So I'll pass on this flight of fancy.

Please, Lindsay and Angelina have so much in common. If the exalted (I laugh) Angelina can redeem herself there is hope for all little lost wayward skanks. Amazing you people tend to forget just how obnoxious Angelina was. The bags are horrible.

I have a couple of those bags. They are nice, but heavy. And the company was the worst one I have ever dealt with. I'm shocked she's back in business.
I agree with anonymous. I spoke with designer stephanie about a sizing issue and was left out in the cold. i was even willing to trade down. Since then ive fallen in love with my Lanvin bag.
I LOVE my Hammitt bag! I use it both during the day at night. The bag is very versatile. I can't seem to bring the bag anywhere without getting compliments and people inquiring about who makes it and where they can get one! I think it’s great! The people at the company are very friendly and helpful. I see a lot of success in the future of this company.

Smooth, classic with lots of style is how I like to refer to my new Hammitt bag! Brentwood is her name and I fell for the line the 1st time I saw them in Manhattan Beach. The leather is soft and smooth and suede lining incredible! PERFECTION - I had been on the hunt for a sophistaced black leather purse for quite some time & so happy with my new HAMMITT !! First of many to come...
I too love my Hammitt bag! The leather is incredible and will no doubt last a lifetime. I don't switch bags a lot and so the bag works whether at work or play which i think is what i like most about it! I liked the style so much I bought some as gifts for my relatives in Miami. I purchased 2 of these overpriced bags. the leather is cheapest quality on any bag ive ever purchased. the color rubbed off the strap and onto my shoulder. Give away bags use better leather than these.
Stacey. This is the CEO of Hammitt Tony Drockton. I have never heard of this happening to any Hammitt bag but maybe this was a defective swatch of leather? Would you be willing to send me both bags at our cost and I will gladly replace them for free?
I have two Hammitt bags and absolutely love both of them! I've had one for about 4 years and it has only gotten better with age. The other one I've had for almost a year now and I use it constantly. The bags are a bit heavy, but that is just a testament to the quality and thickness of the leather. They are so perfectly structured, versatile, they age beautifully and are definitely staples in my collection.

Last time I checked, my cleaning lady had a Louis Vuitton. It's so common. Think outside the box LA. I've lived here forever and am sick of seeing the same handbag everywhere. Sign me up for something new.
I have a Brentwood Hammitt in a beautiful deep red and I think it is a classic handbag with a twist. The studs give the classic style an edge and it doesn't look too trendy. It kind of reminds me of a Hermes Bag, yet not as simple and definitely not as expensive. This handbag was $485 and in my opinion a good buy. I think this style gives any look a little class. I would recommend it to your everyday shopper not wanting to spend a fortune to look good.
