Love Lanvin, everything about it, even the clothes that don't fit me, and this bag, although not the best bag by it's own right, embodies the qualities I love most about the designer. Whimsical, feminine, sophisticated and pretty. And I almost am glad it is not leather (it is anthracite felt, which is kinda cool) to reduce the price so that it can be a justifiable emotional purchase. It's small so all the applique hearts and grosgrain ribbon are in cute proportions. I find this shape so much easier to take in a softer fabrication than the python and thick leather versions, those look clunky and stiff (and too much hardware). The little girl in me is begging to take this home!! But the season is still young so I'll wait for something more enticing (maybe!). At Bergdorf Goodman for $1265.
