Chloe Marlow Shopper

I am for sure digging on this bag in a big way. Although I don’t know if this alone will bring Chloe back from oblivion. It is still trying to be a Phoebe Philo design, this is the slouchier and softer (as in leather) Edith. Original it is not, it’s a patchwork of the Edith, the Muse Two and Mulberry. But even so, I like the relaxed vibe and slight edge. The zipper bottom compartment is a bit odd but the uncomfortable feel makes it interesting, I want to keep looking at it. That loose belted tie is haphazard but cool! The vermillion red is the perfect shade for the most versatility in a bag. Not too bright but will definitely turn heads. Pre-order at Bergdorf Goodman for $1960.

I like the red but I really love the grey version with contrast brown belt at luisaviaroma.com. Has anyone held this one? Is it heavy leather?

What’s with these bottom zipped bags? Leave the bottom zippers on food cooler bags or diaper bags! It’s a slob for me! I’ll proportioned and probably uncomfortable to wear!

this bag reminds me of the Fendi Selleria Villa Borghese. I think I might even prefer the Fendi over this Chloe. At least I know the Selleria line is all handmade so the pricepoint is better deserved.

I’m a Chloe collector from the past and I kinda like this one. But it has been a long time since the days of me drooling over every bag in the line and the Marlow Shopper doesn’t compete with the classics of yore.

  8. Looks just like a Marc Jacobs Bruna without the quilting!
