Rebecca Minkoff Virginia Computer Sleever

Dear Bag Snob,

Why aren’t there computer sleeves that are cute and functional? I need something that isn’t so embarrassing to pull out of my nice YSL Muse. Is there nothing other than neoprene? What’s a girl to do?

Frustrated Snob,

Angela

Dear Angela,

Girl, I hear you!! I have to admit, I am pretty practical when it comes to electronics so I have just been using a neoprene sleeve as well (but it is hot pink!). Well, I have the perfect thing for you, finally a computer sleeve worthy of taking out and being seen! The Rebecca Minkoff Virginia Computer Sleeve in faux ostrich is quite fabulous. Not as nice as your Muse but certainly wouldn’t be a drag when taking it out. It also comes with a shoulder strap so you can use any bag you want and just carry this along with you. At Shopbop.com for $150, totally reasonable if you ask me! I am so getting this for myself, as well. It also comes in black patent leather for $98 but is not as unique.

Love,

Bag Snob

The ostrichish looks fine, but why oh why faux? I´d like mine to be genuine leather! I know, I have this really nice grey croc case for sunglasses, but it is faux too ( 5 euros), and it disturbs me so much, that I´ll switch it back to it´s original case, which isn´t even trying to resemble leather.

Bagsnobs! You are the best! This is perfect (of course genuine would be nice, but really who wants to pay 5x the cost of the laptop for the laptop bag?) I LOVE IT!

Talk about an untapped market! Thanks for finding this cute bag. I hate my neoprene laptop sleeve. Now I’ll have a really cute one.

Thanks, much!! I’ve been looking for a laptop sleeve for a year and this one is amazing and cheap!! I’m getting it before it goes away. I wonder why more companies haven’t gotten into designing great looking sleeves? Seems like a wide open market to me.
