I am not a huge Gucci fan and on several occasions I've complained about their overuse of bamboo but this clutch makes me have to eat my words. This is the perfect way to use the bamboo - subtle, functional and adds the contrast and interest a simple, classic clutch needs. And it is not even that classic, the shape and style are, but the foldover design definitely knocks it up a notch in modernity. The problem with most foldover bags is that is does not stay folded over when closed, it kind of hangs partially open and looks stupid. But the bamboo turnlock takes care of that. The textured gray leather is gorgeous and versatile. The center band detailing polishes it off, just wish that tassel could be removed. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $830.
Love at first sight!
I tried out this clutch at Saks and fell in love. It's gorgeous. They also had it in black and purple smooth leather.
When it is folded over and secured, it looks a little like a very popular Lanvin bag (I forgot the name) I saw at Barney's a few seasons back. I loved the Lanvin and I like this one as well.

I love it, the color is beautiful. The style reminds me of my McQueen foldover clutch from last year.
Like everyone else, I am also in love with this clutch. It is so hard to find one that is both gorgeous and eye-catching but also comes along with a fair amount of practicality.
Everything I need for a night out would fit comfortably. Love it!
